PAUL KAGAME FACES UNCOMPROMISING MEMBERS OF FDU-INKING AND PS-IMBERAKURI IN THE CAPITAL KIGALI
During this very difficulty times for the President of
Rwanda, Paul Kagame, with the financial crises shooting up-the-roof,facing a pending indictment at the ICC, things are not looking well
at all for him and his counterparts.
Members of FDU-Inking and PS-Imberakuri staged a peaceful demonstration near the maximum prison during the early hours of the morning, to render their voice and voice against
the injustices, lack of freedom of expression that rooms across the country.
Meanwhile, the Rwandan defense minister James Kabarebe
together with African defense ministers are meeting in DRC to discuss a
possibility of deploying a “neutral international force“ in the North Kivu where M23 rebel
movement backed by Rwandan government, which continues to destabilize Congo. Unbeknown
to James Kabarebe is that things have taken a u-turn and members of the oppositions are up in arms.
It is however not known whether among their demands; the
unconditional release of political prisoners held in custodies, freedom of
speech, etc will be granted by the oppressive regime as it is alleged by the demonstrators.
“ some of our members were taken into custody. We managed
to follow it up and we later found that they were take to the maximum prison,
1930.”said a member of FDU-Inking who didn’t want to be name fearing for his life.
“ All I can say now is that those who were take to the
prison are have been released" added the anonymous.
We tried to get a comment from the representatives of
Rwanda in South Africa but we couldn’t reach them.
