A CONVERSATION WITH NSENGIMANA DANIEL. RNC JOBURG YOUTH LEADER.

Johannesburg – Saturday the 25th August, I had a conversation with RNC Youth Leader for Joburg Branch in South Africa. The will and courage to tell it like it is, is what drives this ambitious young man, Nsengimana Daniel.  The discussion started on a lighter note but as we progressed, the heat was on. The following are thoughts and suggestions from what he shared with us.

“If you go through the history of Rwanda, youth have always been used by selfish leaders for their own benefits and that’s exactly what’s happening in the North Kivu”. Said Nsengimana Daniel.

“The strength of our nation (which is the youth) is wasted in Congo, in wars that they too don’t understand the root-causes”. He Added.

When asked how he feels about the recent developments in Rwanda regarding young men arrested over allegations of misconducts and various charges, he told us that “those  young men are being harassed. Those involved in capturing them, fabricates false charges so that they can carry on with their militias activities. Those young men are treated like a herd of cattle. You just drag them left and right and they follow you".

He goes further to advice them that “ Rwandan youth are the ones to take up the first step in fighting for their rights and the sovereignty of their country”. Here, he gave us an example of how the two governments starting with the ousted one and the current government, the two government have always involved the youth in wrong doings.

“during the Gen Habyarimana reign, youth were used to do bad things. The same mentality migrated to the current regime where we see, president Paul Kagame also use the youth to do more harm than good. So the youth need to be aware of all these things and rise up. The time is now”.

“ for example when there is instability, they call upon the youth to intervene. But when all is well, they forget them. So here we need to think twice and asks ourselves whether we are their tools to be used around or part of the solution”.

He also stressed on the issue of the recent attempt assassination to end the life of his fellow comrade and chairman of RNC in Africa region, Frank Ntwali,  by saying that “ it is a shameful act and we condemn it very strongly. We are aware that our lives are in danger, but yet again we know that we won’t live forever. So we will continue to voice against the bad regime however we can”.

Asked his opinion regarding the current regime, he stressed out that “the regime is in its last stage. They will do whatever they can to empty coffers of the people. Here I can give you so many examples of funds they established for the sole purpose of enriching themselves; 1 Agaciro Development Fund 2. Mutual Fund, 3. Education Fund, 4. FARG all these are mind-game type of businesses that are meant to bankrupt ordinary citizen.

He concluded by saying that “as youth, especial those still living in Rwanda, there is need to free themselves and start being vocal. There is a need for us as youth to break those chains and free ourselves from the oppressor, using whatever means we have at our disposal”.

FRANKLY SPEAKING I WAS SAVED BY GOD. CONFESSES FRANK NTWALI AFTER AN ATTEMPT TO END HIS LIFE.

Johannesburg – This morning we spoke to Frank Ntwali the chairman of RNC Africa Region, who is recovering well from the wounds obtained from an attempt assassination on his life, yesterday the 22nd August 2012 while on his way for a meeting in Kempton Park near Johannesburg International Airport. He was stabbed nine times in different areas.

“ A car came from behind us, flashing lights. The occupants posing as police officers pulled us off. Once we pulled off, they started asking me my wallet and whether I had a gun”.  Said Frank Ntwali.

“ Three guys, one entered inside the car from behind, while his other partners, one standing on my door side and another one on the driver’ side started searching us. They guy behind me started stabbing me. From there, I started wrestling the guy on my door, who was busy pushing me back inside the car. Eventual, I forced myself out”. Added  Frank.

Asked weather this was a robbery gone wrong, he said that he has no doubt that it was a planed hit. The driver was left unharmed and no valuables were taken. This is an obvious sign that the intention was to kill Frank Ntwali and delay medical care.

“no doubt in my mind that it is Paul Kagame, behind the attack. Anyone who speaks against him and his dictatorship regime is considered as a threat”. Added Frank

Although the damage has been done, the courage and the spirit do defeat the enemy with the help of God is what motivated Frank Ntwali to speak to us this morning.

“Our battle in defeating the enemy has only began. It shows that God is on our side and justice shall prevail. The only way out is that people need to realize that  enough is enough. Paul Kagame and his gangs need to be brought to book”. Said Frank.

PAUL KAGAME FACES UNCOMPROMISING MEMBERS OF FDU-INKING AND PS-IMBERAKURI IN THE CAPITAL KIGALI

During this very difficulty times for the President of Rwanda, Paul Kagame,  with the financial crises shooting up-the-roof,facing a pending indictment at the ICC, things are not looking well at all for him and his counterparts.

Members of FDU-Inking and PS-Imberakuri staged a peaceful demonstration near the maximum prison during the early hours of the morning, to render their voice and voice against the injustices, lack of freedom of expression that rooms across  the country.

Meanwhile, the Rwandan defense minister James Kabarebe together with African defense ministers are meeting in DRC to discuss a possibility of deploying a  “neutral international force in the North Kivu where M23 rebel movement backed by Rwandan government, which continues to destabilize Congo. Unbeknown to James Kabarebe is that things have taken a u-turn and  members of the oppositions are up in arms.

It is however not known whether among their demands; the unconditional release of political prisoners held in custodies, freedom of speech, etc will be granted by the oppressive regime as it is alleged by the demonstrators.

“ some of our members were taken into custody. We managed to follow it up and we later found that they were take to the maximum prison, 1930.”said a member of FDU-Inking who didn’t want to be name fearing for his life.

“ All I can say now is that those who were take to the prison are have been released" added the anonymous.

We tried to get a comment from the representatives of Rwanda in South Africa but we couldn’t reach them.

RWANDANS HAVE BEEN THROUGH HELL AND BACK .PUSHING OTHERS INTO HELL OF FIRES IS NOT THE RIGHT APPROACH.

“I fought for Rwanda to have British Aid. But these  atrocities have changed my mind”said Baroness King of Bow, a Labor peer and former MP for Bethnal Green & Bow.

The PR campaigns for the GoR  seemed to have worked then when Baroness was still in the dark and not knowing true colors of Paul Kagame and his PR team. While on her visit to the “ Garden of Eden. Its beauty seems at odds with its past horrors” writes King in The Times.

The courage of the then supports and once upon friends of Rwanda to stand up and voice their disagreements toward their used to be darling is an indication of good things to come for Africans as a whole.

King goes to say “as far as the International community was concerned “never again”slogan turned out to be a slogan not a policy”. So where did all go wrong with Paul  Kagame?

The UN’s group of experts in their report have found that Rwanda is among and the first country to be spport the M23 rebel movement. Lets also not forget that the leader of the same movement plus the fights speak and breath Kinyarwanda. That is also a charge the GoR denies.

“this year British taxpayers are funding aid programmes in Rwanda to the tune of 75 million pounds. Sadlly, I am now arguing against this. Rwanda is funding some would say fuelling, the war in the east of its giant neighour, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). That was cost mmore that five million live”. Added King.

“its naïve of us to think otherwise. Rwandans have been to hell and back. They have shown great courage and resilience in dragging themselves back from the brink of Armageggon. But pushing other people into the fire of hell is not the right of approach”.

Will Paul kagame surrender or become increasingly stubborn while the people of Congo and young men continue to perish in Congo for his selfish gains?

PAUL KAGAME SET TO BANKRUPT COFFERS OF AIRING RWANDAN ECONOMY

I don’t care” those are the most chilling words Paul Kagame spoke during an interview with BBC's Stephen Sackur, of Hard Talk, on the 7th Dec 2006. Now he has embarked on bankrupting coffers of Rwandese and airing Rwandan economy by establishing the “Agaciro Development Fund (AgDF)”, a newly created sovereign fund, according to a statement released after yesterday’s Cabinet meeting.

As reported by a state sponsored newspaper, THE NEW TIMES, the fund is managed and engineered by the Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, John Rwangombwa. This fund business comes after those royal to Paul Kagame the international community, cut aid due to the on ongoing support of M23 rebel movement that continue to root resources of  North Kivu, in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The 2011 Human Development Report presented by Human Development Index (HDI) values and ranks for 187 countries and UN-recognized territories reported that; The rank of Rwanda’s Human Development Index (HDI) for 2010 based on data available in 2011 and methods used in 2011 is 166 out of 187 countries. In the 2010 HDR, Rwanda was ranked 152 out of 169 countries. Income poverty, measured by the percentage of the population living below PPP US$1.25 per day, and multidimensional deprivations in Rwanda.

In pursuit of clarity, we spoke to Frank Ntwali chairman of  Rwanda National Congress in Africa region and this what he had to  stay; “ Everyone can see that, expect those who are ignorant, the Agaciro Development Fund (AgDF) is another criminal enterprise led by Paul Kagame so that he can carry on his crimes in Congo”.

“We argue Rwandese, who are subjected to live under this dictatorship regime, to refuse to take party in this”. Added Frank Ntwali.

It appears that people of Rwanda will soon if not later fall in deep depression because of one man’s quest for power in the great-lakes region. In his own words “The day that the black man takes an uncompromising step and realizes that he's within his rights, when his own freedom is being jeopardized, to use any means necessary to bring about his freedom or put a halt to that injustice, I don't think he'll be by himself." Said Malcom X.
