RNC-FDU-INKING COALITION. A SHOWDOWN OF UNITY IN BOSTON-USA
Johannebsurg – A showdown of unity drew a huge
attention to the residents of Dartmouth and St. James in Boston, Massachusetts on the
22 August 2012, when
members of Rwanda National Congress, Democratic Republic of Congo and Tanzania
gathered outside, where the current President
of Rwanda, Paul Kagame, together with his fellow countrymen attended the Rwanda
Day.
The exiled Rwandans, together with their comrade
Dr Theogene Rudasingwa, from the opposition groups such as RNC, FUD-INKING and
many others, made their voices heard. Banners, displaying massages calling on the “dictator Paul Kagame” to be held
accountable of the deaths of millions of innocent Rwandese and Congolese, were held up by demonstrators. They also
made a call for Paul Kagame to pull out of Congo and to put an end to the
continued support of the M23 rebel movement, which is accused by a group of UN
experts, of committing atrocities under the command of Bosco Ntanganda.
During the protest, members of the media
including Radio Itahuka, an opposition radio station, were present to cover the
event. For the audio clip and more insights, go to RadioItahuka’s weblink.
